20% chance of rain
Weather was overcast all day with a 20% chance of rain by the weather stations, but at 2 pm it started raining. Anyways the bridge is still out at the creek and you have to ford it. Depth today was around 2 feet and was around 30 degrees. Along the trail only one tree was down. It was easy to get around and caused no problems.
I have no idea when this was, but I believe it was this decade. I was just out driving around with my 4Runner, and wanted to get some exercise, so saw the trail here and decided to go for it. Nice hike and great views.
Yup, that is where the TCR trail crosses a road - good find - it's not exactly easy to spot - I'd been by there before myself and never spotted it.

Nice quick one
With Annie from the PCT. Quick and easy one to a neat pile of rocks. Too bad they put concrete down in spots to make it easy or it could have been a fun scramble. Could see 5 major Cascade peaks. Afterwards, we had burgers, nachos and beer at Skamania Lodge and Baskin Robbins closer to home. Now THAT'S a good Sunday morning.
My buddy Jason and I did this one from the Three Corner Rock Trailhead sometime in late Spring. I don't even remember what year it was, other than that it was probably in 97-98. I couldn't imagine doing this one all the way from the Gorge! I suppose I should fess up and admit that I've also done this one via 4WD......... A tremendous view from this one. On a side note, my wife wanted to go into labor with our first child, so we took our truck up towards this place because of all the bumps. I ended up getting a flat!!!! And we had to wait another couple of days for the baby. So much for that idea..
