The Black Hole
From the summit of Mt. Woolley
Rounded summit on left is Stutfield Peak, North Twin in Centre, Twins Tower highpoint right of North Twin
“The Black Hole is the giant basin found at the foot of the north face of the Twins Tower. The Black Hole is also the terminus zone for the hanging Stutfield Glacier. The Black Hole is a big mangled zone which rarely sees the sun. The Glacier that sits in the guts of the Hole drain out to the Athabasca River. Anyone who wishes to climb the North Face or the Abron Route needs to cross the Black Hole.” Brandon Pullan
