From Seatoller bus stop via Corridor Route. Foggy and crowded on top, but was an amazing and beautiful hike. Everyone was all decked out for mountaineering, and it's just a trail. We each had running shoes, an extra long-sleeve shirt, snack food, and a rain jacket.

Corridor - Summit - Esk Hause
Started from Seathwaite and the Stockely Bridge, before ascending via Styhead Tarn and the Corridor Route. Descended via the plateau between Broad Crag & Ill Crag, before rounding Great End and proceeding down the Esk Hause col. However, neither these peaks, nor an ascent of Scafell made due to illness in a member of our party.
Glorious weather, stunning views and popular but not overcrowded.

Scafell + Scafell Pike
With my Irish mate Colm. Lord's Rake - Scafell - Broad Stand - Scafell Pike. Broad Stand ropeless downclimb a wee bit scary on wet rock but fun. Pints were had at Wasdale Head where we also camped the night.

Wasdale Head
Did a circular route going up Lingmell Beck, and coming back down Lingmell Gill in late afternoon. The weather was partly to mostly cloudy with fast moving clouds at about 900m, which made for some very dramactic light. Unfortunately the pub in Wasdale head stopped serving dinner right when I got back at 8:30pm
Climbed it twice to far. Both via the Corridor Route from Sprinklng Tarn or Borrowdale. First time was an ordeal in heavy rain and fatigue from a sleepless night. Did it in glorious sunshine the second time round. A fitting crown to England, every inch a mountain. Head to the superior Ill or Broad crag to linger in solitude and escape the crowds.
Rain from sty head onwards - the corridor route was misty!

Via Ill Crag
On a fantastic clear day. Scrambled up Ill Crag from Eskdale, up over Scafell Pike, on to Scafell via Broad Stand then back down the south ridge. A fantastic day with views from the Mull of Galloway to the Three Peaks.
Also sometime in 1991, up via Mickledore and down via corridor route.
