"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Dennison Peak hikeDrove up Jack flat rd. on an atv about a mile or two. Then crossed Backbone Creek and took a
ridge that was a pretty direct shot to the peak. The
first mile was relatively brushy and steep in some
parts, but then it cleared up a lot from around the
halfway point until a bit of steep terrain towards the
top. I made it to the peak in a little over 2 hours.
Spent a while at the peak then headed down. I was
planning on going down the ridge I had come up but I
somewhere along the way got off and ended up
getting into a really brushy mess which pushed me
way off my original path, causing me to end up up
about a half mile below where I had started on the
road.
