We set out to do Harvard and Columbia in one long push, but saw lightning in close proximity to us about 50 feet from Harvard's summit. After hurriedly scrambling the last few feet of awesome class 3 rocks, we snapped a couple shots and scampered back down. Great mountain, but waaaayyyy out there. Be forewarned, the Harvard/Columbia route would have been an extremely grueling jaunt, so I would highly recommend an overnighter...beautiful alpine campsites abound.

Well-Maintained Route up HarvardUsed this trail to summit both Harvard and Columbia on a beautiful, late summer day. The new CFI trail is wonderful.

North CottonwoodKeeping up the tradition of hiking on the 4th of July. Weather was gorgeous all day. Lots of hikers on the trail, and a few marmots on the summit.
