Lots and lots
Climbed this numerous times from several different directions. Unfortunately, the east approaches are closed, but honestly the most fun routes are the north and south ridges anyways.

North Ridge from Matthews/Winters Park
Hiked up from the Matthews/Winters Park trailhead after meeting with Stacey early in the morning.
The trails are great for trail running. Good conditions and very developed. Had to bushwhack all the way up to the summit. It is kind of frustrating to arrive to a summit full of antennas, metals and wires. Nice views from up there, though.
I wished I climbed it the following day at night, just to listen and maybe hear "Scorpions" and "Tesla" performing at Red Rocks Amphitheater. :).

Morrison
This afternoon I climbed Mount Morrison from the east and above. I chose this route because I had already climbed the peak from the south several years ago. The trail was steep, but there was only a little ice on it. Denver was quite smoggy, so views weren’t good to the east, but there were some pretty good views west despite the clouds.
On the return, I took a different trail down, but when I got to the bottom there was a sign saying the trail was closed.

South Ridge
I was pleasantly surprised at how rugged and fun this route was! Topped out on a beautiful sunny day. Just as another party was descending, I found a credit card and got it promptly returned to its rightful owner! This mountain is a great little gem so darn close to Denver!

DIrect East Face and South Ridge
Started my hike at Red Rocks' North Parking lot trailhead. I founded closed to hikers, but I really wanted to give it a go.
Bushwhacked a bit until I joined the original trail/old road after hiking up through a gully. Got to the summit and walked northbound to the heliport located near the summit.
I enjoyed the views and being up there. Went back down by the South Ridge and then walked back up to Red Rocks Amphitheater and North Parking lot.

Very first summit
This was the very first summit I reached with my two kids (7 and 9 years old by then).
We hiked up the East Trail when it wasn't closed yet. Found snow near the summit. It was an awesome time spent with my kids. Time flies!
