Nice easy hike to the summit, the spur to the summit doesn't waste time with switchbacks and just goes straight up the slope. Decently crowded, but not ridiculous for a holiday weekend. Trail mostly snow-free.
Just to be sure, I stood on every single potential highpoint on the entire ridge. Weather was iffy at best, raining at times; the trail through an old clear cut was a bummer.

Last of Four
We had quite the peakbagging day. I was thoroughly exhausted by the time we finished this peak even though it was all trail.

Short Tour
Gorgeous way to bring in the new year, sunny and clear all day. The descent was rewarding on my splitter.
My roommate took me up this hike just after I'd moved out to Seattle from Iowa. I'd never climbed anything so high in my life. Ah, perspective (heh). We went up and over to Twin Lakes, had lunch and went back. Lovely late summer weather.
EDIT: Looking at the map, it wasn't Twin Lakes, but rather Margaret Lake.
Perfect quick hike offering up some nice vistas N to S through E. There are limited W views due to trees at the summit, but this is all compensated for on the descent through an old clear-cut area where new growth has not yet compormised the open westward vistas.

Good leg workout with good views of Stuart, Rainier and other local mountains. Another worthwhile mountain.

Mount MargaretQuick hike - less than an hour to the top. The view at the summit was more restricted by trees than I thought it would be.

hideawayThe off-path "trail" was kinda fun up the ridge to the summit. Great views, steep drop-offs around you, and not as crowded. We enjoyed this trek.
