Route Climbed: Ascend the west slopes, descend the east slopes Date Climbed: July 2002
Hit this on the way down from an ascent of Long's. Barely made it off before a huge storm hit. Ran to treeline just as huge hailstorm w/ lightning began. Bad idea in hindsight :-)
Route Climbed: Up from Chasm Lake cutoff, down the other side Date Climbed: May 2003, most recently
As stated, maybe an unimpressive looking mountain, but sitting in one of the most impressive places in Colorado! Great views of many classic mountaineering routes on Longs and Meeker. Well worth the hike, any season.
