Hit several high points on the ridge as part of a Plummer trip. Be sure to visit Russ at the lookout - great guy.

Consolation prize
After a botched attempt on Sinister and Dark. Russ, the lookout's caretaker, was kind enough to give us a tour. Beautiful!

So nice I did it twice!
This was a multi-purpose trip:
1) See Paul become the second completer of the "standing Washington lookouts" list.
2) Summit "Miners Ridge" (Point 6758).
3) Summit Plummer Mountain.
Multiple people joined this trip. It was tons of fun.

55 Miles in 25 Hours
With the Suiattle River Road still closed, I ended up doing this basically in virtually a day's timeframe. I left late one day, then camped near the suspension bridge along the Suiattle River Trail, and then hiked up to the lookout the next morning. I took my sweet time during the descent. The lookout was awesome, and it was a real treat to visit the area without huge crowds of people. Great views!
