Iron Mountain via Iron Mountain Trailhead and Iron Man Trail. We were on the trail by 10:10 and made it to the summit by 11:40 (with a number of stops to talk with other hikers and take photos along the way). The final section is a use trail from a ski run on the southern side of the peak that can be missed if you're not paying attention. Party of 2. 3 miles and 1 hour 30 minutes to the summit. Weather was cloudy, no wind, and temperatures in the mid 40's. The trail is well shaded with aspens. 1,900 ft elevation gain to the summit.

So hot!
Whoever invented hiking in summer is super mean. At least the trail was covered by trees most of the way.
Also, the mid-mountain bike trail is probably the longest ever. The views from on top were pretty good. You can see a few ski resorts and Park City, which is nice.
Pretty simple hike up the mountain. The drainage trail ended by some new construction where a tram was built. Couldn't find the Private Property sign, so we bushwhacked up to the top on the south side. Found an easier trail down on the north side which connected to the mid mountain bike trail.
We got free slurpees after since it was 7-11.

Winter Climb
Absolutely perfect winter climb; Blue skies, 15 degrees. The trail was beaten down with zero postholes. Advice: Bring something to slide down the hill with (e.g. a sled). It'll be about a mile of sleding descent!

pleasant hike
I hiked this one with my brother-in-law, Ron. There was a lot of construction at the pass (8,400 ft level) due to the installation of major pipeline and roads.

Iron Mountain
There is a good route up this mountain starting directly above a neighborhood. The area up higher and around Iron Mountain has much development.

Next time I think I'll give it a try in winter.
