Beautiful fall day with the slopes ablaze in amazing reds and yellows.

12 peaks in a day
Red, Red Lookout Site, Thorp, Hard Knox, Not Knox, Hard Cheese, French Tongue, Kachess Ridge, French Chin, French Cabin, French Cabin South Peak, French Cabin North Peak.
Only on the summit for 5 minutes. We were chased down what appeared to be a storm. It later turned out just to be a light snow shower, which is shocking in itself.

Great October Hike
Beautiful fall colors and post-holing through early season snowfall. Fantastic views of the Cascades from Hibox to Daniel.
The views were much better than I expected. The rocky eastern slopes looked almost inviting, but without a helmet with me (and being solo) I did not want to take any big chances. There were traces of recent mountain goat activity at the summit, which was cool to see. Highly recommended.
