"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Route Climbed: Normal Route from Albert Heimhütte Date Climbed: march 2020Found ourselves in the Uri Alps just before the start of the lock downs in Europe due to Covid-19. Already very quiet in the mountains (several ski stations shut down), we were alone going for the Chli Bielenhorn.
Great snow conditions! Blue bird sky! Cold! Awesome day :-)

West-GratBeautiful albeit short climb, one of the best granites with lovely holds and impressive views. Did it with boots and gloves. Found the aid-pitch A0 difficult, struggled a bit there :-)

Warm sunny day: the snow was not the best, too soft and wet, but really a nice place.
from the top large view on Vallisian Alps: weisshorn, zinalrothorn, dent d'herens, rosa, matterhorn.
3:40 with heavy sack!

West ridge, nice beginners route.Enjoyable route for beginners, well bolted all the way through. Nice practice climbing on your mountain boots. The 'Klagemauer' was a great bit of artificial climbing. Really enjoyed A0-ing my way up while whistling the A-team tune :-)

West GratNice climb on good granite. Not to long or difficult, perfect for beginners and relaxed for more experienced climbers. The 'Klagenmaurer'is more difficult, but you can take an easy left route there.

Route Climbed: W-Grat Date Climbed: Okt. 05Easy ridgeclimb with excellent views. Perfect to initiate beginners. Artificial part was a bit tricky, it's not called 'klagemauer' for nothing.
