"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Part of a loop hike starting in CunninghamGot a nice early start and was the second car in the lot on a cold and cloudy (but dry) morning and had the hike almost entirely to myself; only 9-10 others seen all day an about a four hour and twenty minute ramble. I hiked about nine to nine and a half miles and that was including the Lewis Area extension of about 2-2.4 miles, which includes a lot more serious up and down steepness than the rest of the hike.

Hot and HumidHiked a few times as a young man with the Boy Scouts. Hiked it many years later with my wife and son during a hot and humid day in August 2008. Nice views. Few people.

Good MemoriesUsed to climb all the time with friend when growing up. Exploring all the cracks and boulders. Most recently climbed there with my 2 brother in laws to share the experience. Memories are always different then reality. Not near as big as I remembered but still just as enjoyable and if you pick the right day you may even have it to yourself.

Sweet ViewI hadn't climbed it in years, and I'd forgotten how nice the views are. The boulders are fun, too.

Great ViewClimbed around with some friends on Catoctin Mountain for a few miles and hit Chimney Rock along the way. Visited it again on November 22, 2008 and spent some time here again. It was a beautiful sight with a thin blanket of snow covering the hillsides. Hit it a third time on January 23, 2010 with a friend while watching the sun set to the west.
